Hey Divers!! My name is Mustufa aka Mu. I earned my open water scuba instructor rating in 2015 and currently am a Couse Director .

I am a diver, traveler/backpacker, foodie, self-proclaimed chef, hiker, trekker, nature lover, motorcycle enthusiast, adrenaline junkie, to say the least.

I was born and raised in Mumbai, India. I got hooked to scuba diving during my open water certification in Koh Tao, Thailand and moved to the US in 2014 to be a scuba instructor. I am fluent in Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and English.

Fun Fact: I have rode my motorcycle on the highest motorable road in the world (18,400 ft). 

Upon earning a business degree, I started my career as an investment banker. After 2 years of hating the cubicle and commute, I quit to join the family business. Fast forward 8 years, the business was booming (with the support of partners - dad and brother), and I took a 1-year sabbatical in search of "Pura Vida".  10 years, 7000+ dives, 1000+ certifications, and 6 Elite Instructor Awards later, here I am.

PS - I am also a part-time Math tutor.
