I became Open Water certified in the Midwest in 1987, and became a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor in 1992. I started a diver center in 1999 and became a PADI Course Director in 2001 and my dive center became a 5-Star IDC as well. During that time I hosted many recreational and technical diver trips to the Florida Springs and the Florida Keys. I love to do wreck dives. I think that is my favorite type of diving. I love the history, the fish life, and nature slowly taking something back for her own. I like reef diving too! My favorite reef dives are looking under ledges for sharks and lobsters, and checking out the sand areas for rays and turtles.  I also became a Diving Medical Technician (DMT), a Certified Hyperbaric Technician (CHT), and a licensed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). Later I also became a Fellow of the College of Chest Physicians (FCCP) in addition to doing work with several dive centers as a PADI Course Director.
