Advanced Open Water

The PADI Advanced Open Water course allows you to delve deeper into the underwater world by teaching you a new set of skills as well as honing your existing Open Water skills to become a more capable diver. Knowledge development and adventure dives allow you to experience some more interesting branches of what scuba diving has to offer.

Through the Deep and Navigation adventure dives (which are required) you will go to new and exciting dive locations and have a more intimate relationship with your compass and underwater navigation. You will also have your choice of three other adventure dives to try throughout your Advanced Open Water course. The PADI Advanced Open Water course allows you to greatly expand the type of dives you can experience.

Rainbow Reef offers a wide array of adventure dives for your Advanced Open Water certification. We highly recommend you take the Peak Performance Buoyancy adventure dive during the course. You will learn the different level of caution divers need to take in order tackle the deeper dives Key Largo has to offer as well as learning more advanced navigation patterns on our beautiful reefs.
